Tether with anything.

ShootPick doesn't replace your capture software. It watches the folder your capture app saves to, so Lightroom, Capture One or any other tool just works, on Mac or Windows.

Your originals stay exactly where your capture app put them. ShootPick reads new files as they appear and leaves your catalog untouched.

Setup

Lightroom Classic

  1. 1
    Tether like you normally do

Connect your camera and open Lightroom Classic the way you already work.

  2. 2
    Find the save folder

Start Tethered Capture from the File menu and note the destination folder in the session settings.

  3. 3
    Choose that folder in ShootPick

Open your event, click Connect folder and select the same location. New frames start routing right away.

ShootPick shows Watching once the folder is connected. Fire a test frame to check.

Any hot folder

Not on the list? If your app, script or card reader drops files into a folder, point ShootPick at it.

RAW, JPEG or both

Shoot RAW+JPEG and ShootPick pairs the files, showing guests the JPEG and keeping the RAW for your edit.

Picks back to your catalog

Export guest favorites as a list of filenames to filter or flag them in Lightroom or Capture One.

Questions

Do I need a plugin for Lightroom or Capture One?

No. ShootPick works next to your capture app through the folder it saves to, so there is nothing to install inside it.

Will ShootPick move or rename my files?

No. Your originals stay where your capture app put them, with their original names.

Can I run more than one camera?

Yes, on the Studio plan. Each station gets its own folder and every frame still reaches the right guest.

Does it work on Mac and Windows?

Yes. ShootPick runs on both macOS and Windows, and works with whichever capture app you use on that computer.
